Tim Bulman is the co-founder and one of the Principals of District. Together with his partner Chris Mearn, Tim created District to provide clients with a more personal, hands-on,and specialized approach to commercial real estate. All while consistently delivering exceptional results.
Tim has over 15 years of commercial real estate expertise on a local, regional, and national scale specializing in investment sales, acquisitions and dispositions, 1031 Exchanges, asset underwriting, market analysis, landlord and tenant representation, and consulting. Over the years, Tim has sold over 100 Dollar General retail locations across the country and has assisted clients in buying and selling assets featuring major retail tenants such as Chick-fil-A, Trader Joe’s, Burger King, Citizens Bank, AT&T, Firestone, Sherwin Williams, Arby’s, Advance Auto Parts, O’Reilly Auto Parts and more. In addition, Tim works with preferred developers throughout the country handling their disposition platforms, including Rhetson Companies, GBT Realty Corporation, Zaremba Group, and Sound Development. Over his career, Tim has worked with a wide range of landlords in both urban and suburban markets, and has represented, assisted, and handled expansion plans for national and regional retail tenants, including Trader Joe’s for 33 states.
Before co-founding District, Tim played seven years in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, and New England Patriots. While still an active player, he co-founded a syndicate acquisition firm focused on acquiring income-producing single tenant net leased assets across the country and completed the NFL’s Business Management & Entrepreneurial Program at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, Maine, North Carolina, and Georgia.
